  • Research: The annual awareness study measures the effectiveness of the North American Safe Boating Campaign.
  • Wear Your Life Jacket to Work Day (May 18, 2018): This is a fun opportunity to educate coworkers or building mates about the proper life jacket for them, different styles, and how to use an inflatable life jacket by wearing your life jacket to work. A customizable press release and more resources are available.
  • Ready, Set, Wear It! Life Jacket World Record Day (May 19, 2018): Thousands of people from around the world attempt to set the world record for the most life jackets worn and inflatable life jackets inflated on one day. The record to beat this year is 10,917. Find out more, register your event, and browse resources such as a customizable press release, media alert, and public service announcements.
  • National Safe Boating Week (May 19 – 25, 2018): From family friendly events at marinas to vessel safety checks, this week is packed with life-saving messages about responsible boating. National events during this week are Wear Your Life Jacket to Work Day and Ready, Set, Wear It! Life Jacket World Record Day. There are free and paid resources available to support your outreach efforts, from a customizable press release, media alert, public service announcements, template proclamation, brochures, and more!
  • Life Jacket Information: There are life jacket styles available for almost any boating activity, such as innovative inflatable life jackets.
  • Grassroots Outreach Program: Each year, organizations and individuals are able to apply for resources to be used in their own safe boating initiatives
  • Expert Sources: North American Safe Boating Campaign national spokespersons, state experts and coverage ideas.
